Johnson County Schools' Mission Statement

The mission of the Johnson County Schools is to assure that all students are able to reach their fullest potential through the acquisition of knowledge, basic skills, and work habits to enable them to become productive members of society. The Board of Education, in conjunction with its personnel, recognizes and accepts the responsibility for --

• Making decisions that are always focused on doing what is best for students,
• Creating safe, supportive, and caring school environments, and
• Honoring the worth, uniqueness, and dignity of each student.
