This is an important reminder to everyone that next week our Johnson County students in grades 3rd - 8th and 11th grades will be taking part in the state required End of the Year KPREP Assessments. The results of these assessments will be used to determine the success of our students, our schools, as well as the district. Every public school in Kentucky will be receiving a “STAR” rating based on the results of the 2018-2019 KPREP results.
Johnson County elementary schools, as well as the Johnson County Middle School, will begin testing on Monday, May 6 and Johnson Central High School will begin testing on Tuesday, May 7. K-2 students will be working on very important end of the year local assessments such as Exact Path, STAR, and tests that are included within their curriculum. All Johnson County students need to be at school on time daily, get a good night’s sleep, and eat a good breakfast.
We have had an excellent school year and our students have shined bright in academic and extra-curricular areas. Let’s end the school year strong by encouraging our students to do their very best during testing and throughout the remainder of the school year. We are blessed with the very best students, faculty and staff, as well as the greatest parents and community members. Thanks to everyone for supporting and believing in the Johnson County School System.
