Misty Goble is a 23-year educator in Johnson County Schools and a lifelong Johnson County resident. She is a 1996 JCHS Graduate, earned her BA in Social Sciences from Morehead State University, her MA in Leadership with her Principal Certification from Marshall University, and her Rank I in Instructional Supervision from Union College. She has served as a high school social studies teacher and department lead, a new teacher mentor, and as an Elementary and JCHS Assistant Principal, a 21st Century Site Coordinator at Johnson Central High School and Johnson County Middle School, and as the 21st CCLC Program Director for Johnson County Schools.
In 2021, Mrs. Goble was inducted into the Kentucky Women in Educational Leadership: Third Cohort. The KWEL network is a part of the Kentucky Association for School Administrators and consists of women serving in high-level leadership roles in Kentucky School Districts.
Mrs. Goble’s heart for students is displayed in her commitment to forging authentic connections and a relentless determination to identify and attack the barriers that shackle our marginalized populations. Mrs. Goble looks forward to serving alongside the community, families, and faculty of Flat Gap and continuing the greatness and high-quality educational experience at Flat Gap Elementary.
