🎉 Congratulations to Mrs. Sharon Davis, our new Principal at Johnson County Middle School!
Mrs. Davis began her career at Johnson County Alternative School, where she taught special education for two years. She then transferred to JCMS, where she continued teaching special education for three years. Her experience as a school counselor at W.R. Castle and Central Elementary for eight years further enriched her understanding of students' needs.
In her 16 years at JCMS, Mrs. Davis has served in various roles, including counselor, special needs coordinator, and assistant principal. Her contributions and dedication to our school community have been recognized, as she was awarded the prestigious title of Kentucky Middle School Counselor of the Year in 2016. Mrs. Davis is also an active member of Kentucky Women in Education Leadership (KWEL).
Mrs. Davis brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Special Education and holds a Master's, and Rank 1 in counseling. Her commitment to professional growth is evident through her additional certifications in principalship, instructional supervision, and DPP from Asbury University.
We are confident that her leadership, experience, and passion for education will inspire both our students and staff. Under her guidance, Johnson County Middle School will continue to thrive and provide an exceptional learning environment.
