Outstanding achievements by our students and staff were recognized at the Johnson County Board Meeting. Nicholas Hardin was honored for his work as the first student board member representative, as well as his many other accomplishments during his career at JCHS, including tennis, soccer, and academic accomplishments, and for securing the Presidential Scholarship to the University of Kentucky.
Our JCHS Tennis and JCMS Academic Teams received deserving recognition for their dedication and excellence. Superintendent Cochran, board members, and guests expressed gratitude to Donna Ward, James Chapman, and Robin Halsey for their years of devoted service to the district.
Superintendent Cochran and board members were pleased to announce a 1% raise for all our employees. Combined with last year's raises, certified employees will have received a commendable 4% raise over the last two years, with classified employees experiencing an even higher raise.
These achievements reflect the dedication to students, staff, and the community. Johnson County School District takes pride in creating a positive impact and looks forward to a future filled with more success and growth.
