Johnson County Schools hosted the KSBA East KY South Regional Meeting on October 17th. It takes an entire school family to host a successful meeting for superintendents, board members, and others from 9 East Kentucky school districts. Chairman Bob Hutchison, Superintendent Thom Cochran, and Administrative Assistant Valarie Blair wish to thank all those who graciously helped.
Central Office Finance Clerk Brittany Allen helped with organizing, and Student Board Representative Ilana Estep registered attendees. The JCHS Culinary students, along with instructor Ms. Angie Music, catered the event; receiving rave reviews for the dinner. Johnson County Middle School band student Bree Allen entertained with beautiful acoustic guitar music. FFA brought mums, Ms. Amy Conley provided the podium, Carpentry Instructor Terry Bowling helped out with securing signs, and Technology Coordinator Mike Whitaker set up the sound system. We have an awesome Eagle Family in Johnson County!!
