The Johnson County Board of Education's monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 21st, was vibrant and eventful. It showcased student leadership, celebrated JC Board members in honor of Board Member Appreciation Month, and included the prestigious Golden Eagle Award presentation. Superintendent Cochran acknowledged the Board Members' unwavering dedication and continuous hard work with deep admiration. Enhancing the celebration, Ava June Tackett and Addison Hicks from the Johnson County Middle School Academic Team eloquently read a special proclamation. The January Golden Eagle Award recipients, Donna Jennings of Johnson County Middle School and LaTonya Taylor Rowe from Highland Elementary were recognized for their exceptional contributions .
