The Johnson County School District would like to extend our gratitude to Micki Ray, Chief Academic Officer of the Kentucky Department of Education, Christie Biggerstaff, Director of Early Literacy, and the entire Early Literacy Team for hosting the inaugural KY Reads to Succeed Summer Conference. The day was filled with high-quality professional learning, networking, and collaboration. We were extremely honored to be part of the LETRS for Educators Information & Round Table discussion hosted by Alison Gregory, State Regional Literacy Director. Heather Butcher, DAC/Instructional Supervisor, represented our district exceptionally well, sharing the outstanding work being done in the district. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Superintendent Thom Cochran and the Johnson County Board of Education for their unwavering support and dedication to the professional development of our teachers, ensuring our students receive the highest quality education.
A special thanks to all JC educators who attended the conference; their commitment to professional growth is truly commendable. The new learning and insights gained from the conference will be seamlessly integrated into our instructional practices, directly enhancing our students' educational experience and outcomes.
