The Johnson County School District is thrilled to continue our Read to Succeed initiative, leveraging the strengths of our HQIR Magnetic Reading and Wonders programs to foster student success. Our administrators, teachers, instructional assistants, Read to Succeed Facilitators, Community School Coordinators, and SEL Specialists work collaboratively to implement unit and lesson internalizations, actively engage in PLCs, and utilize proven teaching strategies such as Kagan structures to enhance learning. Each day, we dedicate 45 minutes to personalized, small-group reading sessions tailored to each student's reading level, ensuring differentiated instruction that meets every child's unique needs. Additionally, students benefit from 75 minutes of focused Wonders instruction daily.
