Happy Interscholastic Athletic Administrators' Day, Coach Tommy McKenzie. We celebrate your leadership and commitment. Thank you for always providing outstanding opportunities to our student-athletes!
As Johnson County School District collaborates with other districts, each district has narrowed the focus to a specific item for distribution. Our focus will be bottled water. This can be gallons or cases of individual water. We want to ensure ample water for cleaning, bathing, and consumption. The water collection will continue through Friday at each school and be delivered on Monday.
Thank you for supporting our friends in Western Kentucky.
Eagle Community,
As many of you likely know, our state's central and western parts were devastated with tornado damage last night.
Johnson County and other school districts in Eastern Kentucky will be participating in a "Pack a Bus" project. If you would like to participate, please donate water, shoes, socks, coats, garbage bags, shelf food, cleaning supplies, non-perishables, etc.
We will be taking up items Monday-Friday of this week, and will be sending buses on Monday, December 20th, to our friends in Central/Western KY.
Of course, this is voluntary, but if you would like to participate, please bring items to your student's school this week. Any community member interested may drop off items at any of our schools.
Many of you remember the devastation that we have faced from tornadoes as well as flooding and the impact that donations from across the state had on many of our Johnson County families.
Thank you in advance for supporting our friends and families across Kentucky.
