JC parents & guardians please complete the Healthy at Schools Survey! https://forms.gle/Vpzqu7pkYrLxNh896
Johnson County School District Parents & Guardians,
The Johnson County School System hopes to begin school under a regular setting. However, we have been asked by our Governor to plan for different potential starts to the school year. We have also been asked by the Kentucky Department of Education to consider different ways to deliver instruction regardless of the start date. The options are as follows: traditional in-person instruction, virtual instruction, or a hybrid model that would be a combination of in-person and virtual. Finally, we've been asked to prepare for the possibility of having students attend on a variable schedule meaning not all students would attend at the same time. The Kentucky Department of Public Health in collaboration with the Kentucky Department of Education has released its Guidance on Safety Expectations and Best Practices for Kentucky Schools, which outlines guidelines for resuming in person instruction for the 2020-2021 School Year. https://5il.co/hj9u To help us prepare for a variety of scenarios, we are asking for your feedback. Please take a few minutes to think about the questions below and provide us with your thoughtful responses. Once we have your feedback, we can best plan for a variety of options. The data obtained from this survey is confidential and will only be shared with appropriate district personnel. Please complete this survey by Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
