The flag at the Johnson County Board ofEducation is flying at half-staff this weekend in memory of a lost Eagle. Ms. Pat Johnson, 40 year employee of The Johnson County School System, passed away yesterday. Retiring in 2014, Pat worked as a secretary in the Central Office; most recently as personnel secretary. Visitation for Pat will be held at the Meally Church of Christ tomorrow, March 22nd, after 4:00pm. The funeral service will be at the church Saturday, March 23rd at 1:00pm. Please keep her family in your prayers.

We are extremely proud of our Johnson County School System. We have the best people- parents, volunteers, coaches, bus drivers, and KIDS!!! This weekend, students from each of our elementary schools, JCMS, and JCHS represented our district at the KY Governor’s Cup State Academic Championship in Louisville. We are very honored and humbled to have earned so many awards! Below is a list of everything that we accomplished at the competition.
