Our 5th and 6th grade teachers had a successful Google Meet with students this morning. They collaborated together and with specials teachers to provide instruction for today's assignments.
Friday fun day seemed to be a hit with everyone! The students used PE equipment in a relay race to build a snowman ⛄️ ⛄️ ⛄️
Miss Mady Stambaugh and Mrs. Vanhoose reviewed skills with 2nd grade during Math groups for the upcoming Unit test.
Mrs. Vanhoose's class learned about Martin Luther King Jr while completing a Nearpod lesson.
A great Habits Friday in LA Lab! Students practiced this month's focus Habit 6- Synergize: Teamwork! Together is better! 5th graders and 3rd graders worked together to engineer designs, test, improve designs and retest. 1st graders worked as a team to compare/contrast!
Mrs. Vanhoose's Second Graders worked hard during the first week of 2024. They reviewed money using a Kahoot and broke out in Math groups to review and practice skills.
Mrs. Vanhoose's Magnetic Reading group had a productive week learning about syllables, long vowels, and super words.

House Wars at CES are always a blast and very competitive. Congratulations to the Anaconda team for winning today's house wars and to the Flamingos for keeping possession of the highly coveted trophy by maintains the highest total Live School points. Big thanks to Assistant Superintendent Noel Crum for attending and participating.
