Johnson County Schools will be in session Thursday, February 13th operating on a 2 hour delay.

My first graders rocked student-led conferences tonight. They took charge! They handled sign-ins, discussed their goals, the plans they made to achieve those goals, and shared work samples. I was there for moral support-that’s it! I could not be more proud. ❤️ #studentleaders #futureleaders #theleaderinme

Highland Elementary Kindergarten students enjoyed a visit from Veterinarian Melanie Greene. https://youtu.be/HhqEqtpWQuw #wildcatway

Valentine Dance for Kindergarten - 2nd grade, Thursday, Feb. 13 - during school day

Valentine Dance - 3rd - 6th - Friday, Feb 14. - 5:00 - 7:00

Just a reminder: Highland Elementary does not accept Valentine deliveries.
Due to some roads being covered with backwaters and more rain on the way Johnson County Schools will be on a 2 hour delay. This will prevent buses and staff from traveling before daylight and provide additional time to reassess the situation.
