Johnson Central’s own Todd Conley was appointed as SkillsUSA Regional Director for the Northeast District 11 after the former Regional Director passed away before the regional competition last year. Because Johnson Central has the most competitors and advisors enrolled, Conley felt like it was beneficial for the region if our school stepped in. Anita Coleman addressed the role of finding a new Regional Director, and Conley agreed to do it after he was nominated.
“I am extremely excited for this, and I know I have 100% support from our administration and from Thom Cochran, our superintendent, and from our assistants and our advisors and our students.” Conley continued to discuss how our students “help out the most when we actually have to put on the competitions.”
We at JC congratulate the beloved media arts teacher on his appointment.
