The 1st nine weeks ended on October 3, 2019. Grades will be sent home with the students on October 21. There is no open house for the end of the 9 weeks. Our next midterm open house will be November 14.

They will be READING multiple articles a quarter (ACT Reading) , evaluating the data presented (ACT Science), and providing valuable feedback! The Johnson Central swim team is excited to invite 5th and 6th grade students at any Johnson County elementary school to come be a part of our junior varsity swim team! The first practice will be Monday, Oct 14th and every Monday and Wednesday from 3:45 to 4:45 pm until Christmas break. We hope to get these swimmers a few meets of exhibition competition during varsity meets. Additionally, any student in 7-12th grade is welcome to come try out for the varsity squad which will have practice from 4 to around 6 pm daily - bring gym and pool clothes and don't forget goggles. We hope to see you at the JCHS pool - right behind the high school - after fall break!

You may want to note your accomplishment on college or job applications, so follow the directions below to access your scores.
Last fall, PLTW released its first-of-its-kind End-of-Course Assessments. These assessments measure a balance of both subject-matter knowledge and mastery of in-demand, transportable skills, including problem solving, critical and creative thinking, collaboration, communication, and ethical reasoning.
