From the JCHS Assessment Office: A fresh batch of ACT fee waivers have arrived for juniors and seniors. To receive one, the 11th or 12th grader must receive food stamps or medicaid OR be a foster child OR live in subsidized housing OR live with people who are not your parents. See Mrs. Caudill in the main office to see if you qualify.

Morehead State University will host an Idea Festival Youth Event on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This one-day event is a celebration of innovation and imagination for middle and high school students from across the Commonwealth. The event features TED-style talks by innovative and creative Kentucky high school and college students. It also includes a Career Maker Fair where students can explore career paths and exhibits from colleges, universities, technical colleges and area businesses and industry.
