Johnson Central’s female engineering students traveled to UK for Women’s Engineering Day on September 19th. They were introduced to the many options that UK has to offer in numerous engineering majors.

A fresh batch of ACT fee waivers have arrived for juniors and seniors. To receive one, the 11th or 12th grader must receive food stamps or medicaid OR be a foster child OR live in subsidized housing OR live with people who are not your parents.
See Mrs. Caudill in the main office to see if you qualify.
Junior engineering students in Digital Electronics are soldering circuits this week. The components of these circuits will make an LED random number generator.

'You Should See Me In A Crown' - Billy Eilish
Morehead State University will host an Idea Festival Youth Event on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This one-day event is a celebration of innovation and imagination for middle and high school students from across the Commonwealth.
The event features TED-style talks by innovative and creative Kentucky high school and college students. It also includes a Career Maker Fair where students can explore career paths and exhibits from colleges, universities, technical colleges and area businesses and industry.
