These awesome young ladies represented Johnson County well at the Young Women LEAD conference held at UK Singletary Center for the Arts. The students enjoyed unique keynote speakers and heard from a STEM panel of successful women in STEM careers.

November 15 is the deadline to register/pay for AP exams. Most students qualify for free exams but exams only cost $12 each otherwise (cash or check payable to JCHS). Students were emailed last week with their fee status. See Mrs. Caudill to register of if you have questions.
This weekend Johnson County Middle School competed at the Noe Middle School Invitational Tournament. The JCMS Gold Team finished in the top 10 and JCMS Black finished 2nd with an overall 8-1 record. The top 3 finish qualifies JCMS for the 2024 Middle School National Tournament.
STATE BOUND BABY!!!! Both our girls and boys cross country teams have qualified for state competition!!!! Way to go, Eagles!!!
JCHS Cybersecurity Teams competed in Round 1 of the CyberPatriot competition today! A huge thank you to Angie Music for catering the students meal after the competition.
Congratulations to the following students for maintaining perfect attendance during the first nine weeks of school! Regular attendance helps build a strong work ethic and discipline as well as promotes a sense of responsibility and reliability, which are vital qualities in both academic and professional settings.

Mrs. Stewart's FCS Essentials students learned about the importance of communication skills today and how those skills are vital to maintaining healthy relationships.
Students worked in pairs to demonstrate effective communication skills by describing a basic drawing on the board behind their partner.
JCHS Cybersecurity Teams that competed in the 2022-2023 CyberPatriot Competition was featured in the BSCTC GenCyber Student Academy Newsletter (October 2023 - Volume 1). These teams will compete in Round 1 - 2023-2024 - on Friday! Good Luck Teams!
