We hope our national ACT examinees smashed their goals this weekend! Scores can be viewed in your my.act.org accounts on April 25.
There are two remaining monthly dates to take the ACT before the 2023-24 school year: June 10/11 or July 15/16. You self register on my.act.org at a cost of $66 or rising juniors and seniors can pick up fee waivers from Mrs. Caudill. If you are a freshman or sophomore who has yet to take a national ACT, you really should because generally the more times you take it, the better your score will be.
If you have an IEP or 504 plan, make sure to select that you need accommodations so that those will be in place for you when you test. We provide pencils and TI-84 calculators to all examinees at our test center.

Are you a middle school or high school student interested in participating in marching band or concert band next year? If so, there is an important parent meeting tonight, April 12th, at the JCHS band room at 5:30pm. Discussed will be the JCHS band invitation to march in the 2024 Washington DC Memorial Day parade and the upcoming Marching Band program.
State testing for our JCHS sophomores and juniors is one month away! Please make plans on having a charged chromebook at school each day that you are scheduled for testing. Your exams will begin at 8:20 am each day. Students who earn a proficient or distinguished will receive an honor cord for graduation for each exam!
Students who miss their initial and make-up testing date will receive a home visit.
