TAKE THE ACT! September 16 is the deadline to register for the October 22 or 23 ACT. Fee waivers are available to juniors or seniors who qualify.
Merit scholarships are widely dependent on your ACT score so take it multiple times to improve your score! For example, a 21 composite will get you $4,000 at Morehead whereas a 28 will get you $9,000. A 28 will get you full tuition at EKU. At UK, a 26 gets you $2,500, a 28 gets you $5,000, and a 31 is full tuition.
Students also receive bonus KEES money based on ACT composites of 15 or higher amounting up to $500.
The deadline to submit applications for both pageants has been extended until Friday, September 9th. Please contact Mrs. Macey Stewart at JCHS with any questions!
