JCHS wants to congratulate 9th grade counselor Jarred Gibson for a recent recognition with the Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers Program. Jarred is a seasoned director and supports new directors to the program and was recently recognized for his accomplishments at a National Conference.
"Jarred is a true role model for the Ambassador program. He leads with knowledge and experience that assists others how to serve our youth. Jarred has a positive and uplifting presence that immediately attracts educators to learn from him or hear what he has to contribute. He is a large voice in our community and extremely helpful int the impact that our program has for the entire nation," says Katie Calabrese, Verizon partner and senior program director at the National Association For Community College Entrepreneurship.
We are so proud of Mr. Gibson and are thankful others recognize his strengths as we do! This program provides countless opportunities to students in Johnson County and our region. Thank you, Mr. Gibson!
