JCHS Agriculture Science teacher, Sheena Blair and her 4th period Animal Science class have been learning how animals provide food for people and what animal byproducts are. Students were specifically interested in learning about the sturgeon family of fish and the harvesting and salt curing of fish eggs, also known as Caviar. Caviar, a delicacy, is often served as an appetizer, with some being high priced. Per request, students were able to try caviar, along with a few other delicacy food items.
