If your child takes a medication at school OR carries a medication for emergencies such as an EPI pen, inhaler, glucagon etc., the school nurse MUST be have those medications and an order from healthcare providers. If a student self carries the medication, the nurse still needs to be notified and must have an order. It is very important for us to know this information to provide your child with the best healthcare possible. Please contact the school nurse ASAP with this information. Call 606-789-4133 ext 2708 to speak with Carla Castle. You may fax the doctor’s order to 606-789-4135 ATTN: Carla Castle.
