
The University of Louisville Autism Training Center has released this FREE educational series for parents of children with Autism. There are two modules with 10 lessons per module. These lessons are self-paced, online learning module providing parents with tools and training to more effectively teach their child with autism and other related neurodevelopmental disabilities functional skills using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques. The kings and queens of kindergarten from Mrs. Branham's class! Students listened to the story, "The King of Kindergarten" and then used our smart panel to sequence events from the story!

Congratulations Porter Elementary on receiving the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program! This program will provide after school programming for the next 5 years!
Porter Elementary's PAWS after school program will provide daily homework help, academic support, enrichment activities, and transportation. Programming begins Wednesday, August 30th 3:00-5:30 p.m.

Family Resource Center Clothing closet clean out! Stop by tomorrow from 10am -2pm in Porter Elementary Cafeteria and get what you want/need for back to school. We have clothes, shoes, hygiene items and school supplies.

The Family Resource Center still has these glasses in lost and found. Also, on Tuesday between 10am and 2 pm all lost and found will be available to go through at the bus loop. After this items will be donated.

At this time, 2022-2023 Yearbooks can be ordered! Follow the steps in the flyer to place your order. Yearbooks will be picked up from the office at the start of the upcoming school year.

Awards Day for grades 4th, 5th, and 6th will be held on Monday, May 22nd at 8:30am in Porter's Gymnasium.


We celebrated our 6th graders today with a "graduation luncheon" along with class awards and a t-shirt that each student signed! 🐾










K-2 students are dancing into summer at the End of the School Year Dance!







Students redeemed their live school points today for some prizes! Students worked hard earning points this year by completing assignments, being leaders, and having great attendance!
