These students will be representing Central Elementary in the Apple Festival School activities tomorrow morning downtown on stage in front of the old courthouse. They are the division winners in Art, Math, Penmanship, and Spelling. We would like to congratulate them and wish them luck!


Chemical apple pies are always a hit! Intriguing, thought provoking, and yummy! Mrs. Holbrook’s 3rd graders loved these.

Second grade has been working on Author’s purpose this week! Mrs.Rhonda Vanhoose’s class went on an Author’s Purpose Scavenger hunt through the school today!





CES 4th graders using the science practices of questioning, planning an investigation and explaining based on evidence, as they study the short term effects of exercise on the body.
