Today, several seniors had the opportunity to visit Alice Lloyd College! 🎓✨ They explored the beautiful campus, learned about academic programs, and got a taste of college life. It was an exciting day full of inspiration and new possibilities!
Mr. Ross and Mrs. Collett had a visitor this morning! Mrs. Dyer came and brought us an apple treat! We got to taste red, green and yellow apples! She brought some dips for us to try! Our class favorite is red apples dipped in marshmallow fluff! Big thank-you to Mrs. Dyer for coming!
Ms. Wetzel's Honors Biology classes spent the day modeling the phases of mitosis using various materials. It was a great day of teamwork and creativity!

Mr. Justin Arms is pleased to announce that Bryce Ferguson has been named a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. Students awarded this honor demonstrate outstanding potential for academic success. Congratulations Bryce!
Huge Congratulations to our Lady Eagles Soccer Team for advancing to the Final 4 of the 2A State Championship by defeating Mercer County in the super sectional with a score of 2 to 1. Owensboro here we come!

Today in AP Biology, Ms. Wetzel's students used chalk markers to draw the structure of the cell membrane on their tables. It really helped students get a better grip on what the cell membrane looks like!
Exciting things are happening in Ms. Meek's math classes! Students are diving into geometric and arithmetic sequences and taking their learning to the next level with Kagan structures! We are proud of the hard work and enthusiasm students are showing in their learning journey!
Today in Mrs. Collett and Mr. Ross' class students made purchases for items needed for the kitchen station. Students learned step by step how to make a purchase, beginning with locating the items in the store, figuring up the total/expected change, and completing the transaction.
Attention Senior Parents: Senior students are being offered the opportunity to tour Morehead State University's Campus on Friday, September 13, 2024. Students sign up via a form on their Senior Google Classroom. We will take a bus and the trip is on a first come first serve basis.
