FRYSC and the Johnson County Public Library partnered together with Lisa Salyers to offer a playgroup for parents and their children ages 0-3 with funding from the Governor's Office of Early Childhood. This 9-week program allows parents and caregivers to learn fun, easy ways to play with their child while using games, books, songs, and toys to boost their child's development and kindergarten readiness as well as provides meaningful connections with local families!

This is a great program to help teach caregivers how to have meaningful and engaging play with their children. The Family Resource Center and FRYSC Corps are hosting a pet food and blanket drive to benefit the Johnson County Animal Shelter. The class that collects the most items between now and December 15 will win their choice of a pizza party or hot cocoa party!!!
